Everything from the store started to taste the same.

The same wine. The same flavors. The same formulas.

And for a community that celebrates bold food, vibrant culture, and real flavor—what was being offered didn’t reflect that at all.

So we made something different.

I grew up in a farming town in Texas, surrounded by Hispanic and Latino culture. It shaped everything—how I eat, how I celebrate, how I think about flavor. My favorite meals, my favorite music, the energy I’m drawn to—it all comes from that influence.

Today, over 80% of our team is Hispanic and Latino. This isn’t a trend for us. It’s our reality. It’s our community.

And yet, when we looked at what was being sold to this audience, it didn’t make sense.

The largest brands targeting this market weren’t even real wine. They were overly sweetened, manipulated products—built for mass production, not for people who actually care about taste.

We knew there was a better way.

La Chancla is that answer.

Our wines are served in over 400 locations across the state—from Michelin-restaurants to the best small local spots.

We grow what we sell. We make what we believe in. And we don’t compromise.
